Frequently Asked Questions

How old should my dog be to start dog training classes?

It depends on the class level. Puppies can take their first class starting at 2-4 months, while more mature dogs can start at 6 months.

What do I need to bring when I drop my dog(s) off?

Here's a checklist of what you'll need to bring for your dog;

  • Food treats
  • Bedding toys (No rawhides or balls)
  • Medication
  • Leads
  • Vaccination certificate
  • Anything that you think will make your dog feel more at home

Does my dog have to be vaccinated to stay a MC Doggie Resort?

Yes. All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations for rabies, Bordetella (canine cough), and DH-L or A-PP. The H3N2 flu vaccine is strongly encouraged.

All puppies MUST complete their final round of adult vaccines before attending their first visit. This is, so their immune systems are more fully developed and protected before entering a large group environment.

We also need a completed and signed Training, Boarding, and/or Day Camp Agreement.

What is the cost of training my dog?

Our classes are designed for all ages and breeds, allowing you to customize a curriculum based on your needs. Call us today to enroll and for pricing at (678) 961-3649 or email us at masterchristian404@gmail.com

Can I bring my own food?

Yes, and we highly encourage it!

The best thing for the health of your pet is to stay on a regular diet. Changing your dog's diet may result in an upset stomach while staying at MC Doggie Resort.

If you bring food for your pet from home, we ask that you pre-bag the appropriate amount of food for your stay. We have a premium veterinary diet and offer premium pet food at a low-cost per/day.

Please leave bowls at home because we provide them for all our guests.

What if my dog is sick while I’m away?

We will contact your emergency contact or you.

On your booking form we ask for an emergency contact and your vet’s details. In the unlikely event of your dog becoming ill, we work with several local veterinarians to resolve any medical situation that may arise.

What can I expect after my pet’s stay?

Your pet is about to have the best time ever and meet so many new BFFs (Best Furry Friends)!

It is completely normal if they sleep a little more when they get home or want extra dinner (or eat less).
